For this new album, the musicians of Vojaĝo were looking for a different style, in line with the aspirations of the moment and which would draw on the sources of jazz-rock and contemporary classical music.

Toulouse being the city of air and space, it was quite natural that the work should be oriented towards the cosmos. It was therefore agreed to title the album Intergalaksia.

The melodic constructions of this new opus present particular structures which often surprise the listener. The sound edifice built by Vojaĝo is located at the crossroads of current electronic music, jazz, and classical music thanks to a subtle use of superimpositions of melodic lines (counterpoint) which respond to each other, fit together, and come together to form a very elaborate musical architecture.

The use of fourth chords ("quartal" harmony), especially for the riffs, gives a nu-jazz (new urban jazz) sound to the music, and the sometimes ternary sometimes binary rhythms infuse it with a funky groove that encourages dancing.

Some pieces are organized like Brazilian choros and others like film music that transports the listener to improbable places, creating soundscapes, strange and evocative atmospheres. In their new album, Vojaĝo willingly mixes samples and electronic instruments with traditional wind instruments, and we witness real dialogs between flute, soprano sax, tenor sax, clarinet, bombarde, voice, and synthesizers.

As in the first album Planedo nia, the lyrics of Intergalaksia are resolutely committed to the defense of the environment and friendship between peoples. It is therefore quite naturally that Vojaĝo chose, once again, to write their texts in Esperanto, the fair language. This time, a preponderant part is reserved for the music which is punctuated either with poems or songs in Esperanto.

Among the themes addressed in the album, we find: a vanished garden (unreasonable urbanization), time (questioning the nature of time), the hope of one day seeing people live in peace (and speak a single language) , the existence of extraterrestrial life, the march for a better future (climate march), the appeals of a drought-stricken people, etc.
