The album Nenifar' collects almost all the first songs that Gijom' wrote in Esperanto. Two or three of them are Esperanto translations from songs previously written in Gijom's native language, but most are original works. Gijom's texts are about feelings, the psyche, and society. They are not written in the most obvious style, and you will enjoy them all the more you listen to them carefully. The melodies and piano arrangements, however, will directly speak to your heart and you will enjoy them all the more you let yourself float on their waves.

In these works, Gijom' expresses his tendency towards gender neutrality in Esperanto with three songs written the experimental "riisma" style ("Ri liberas", "Amu rin" and "La fabela rakonto pri milda Dudu kaj la malica reĝo de Braĝujo").
The album also deals with social issues such as feminism ("La plej granda"), polyamory ("Amu rin"), nudity ("Nuda"), and more personal issues such as yearning for someone missing ("Mankas vi"), romantic relationships ("Amo kaj Asfalto", "La postrompiĝa temp' ", "Eĉ se ne amen"…), and the terrible feeling we have all had when a friend looses their beautiful curls ("Viaj bukloj")!!

Gijom' recorded the album Nenifar' in 2012 thanks to donations from the Esperanto community. The order of the songs, the title of the album, and the cover image were created by the community of producers. During the recording at the Studio du Moulin (France), one of the supporters attended and published news about the recording on the following blog: http://miprovi.blogspot.com/2012/09/bona-komenco.html.

Two musicians besides Gijom' participated in the recording.
Stéphane Damo is a multi-instrumental musician and computer expert. He created a computer application to compose music. He is not an Esperantist and yet a friend of Gijom's!  A few years after that collaboration, Stéphane took part in the challenge "Gijom' duopumas". This resulted in the song "Realolud'", which can be heard on YouTube and Soundcloud. In the two titles "Nuda" and "Eĉ se ne amen", he played the flute.
The second musician to play on the album is Jérôme Cotte. He is the owner and head of the Studio du Moulin. He can also play a lot of instruments. While recording the song "La plej granda", Gijom' suddenly had the idea to ask Jérôme if he would agree to quickly record a drum track for it. Jérôme accepted, but the affair was not "quick" at all! Well, the track was recorded within twenty minutes. But later, long work began. Jérôme modified the entire track for maybe two hours. He paid attention to every stroke and decided whether to move it, make it louder or softer, or delete it. The result you can now listen to is quite different from the original recording.

On this album, Gijom' is: Guillaume Armide, piano and voice.

Guest musicians:
Stéphane Damo: flute in "Nuda" and "Eĉ se ne amen"
Jérôme Cotte: drums in "La plej granda"
Eric Languillat (i.d.c.): spoken voice in "Katen' kaj venen'" by reading text by Eckhart Tolle

Recorded, mixed (September 2012), and mastered (May 2015) at the Studio du Moulin in Montcabrier.
