Dolchamar – Helsinki - Finland
CD Trajn' nenien is com in november 2010
The band has played at several Esperanto youth and culture festivals in Finland, Sweden, Germany, Poland and France.
Dolchamar have made three albums for Vinilkosmo.
The first album, Lingvo Intermonda (2000), was particularily a success at festival discos around the world with the first hip hop song ever to be recorded in Esperanto, Ĉu vi pretas ?! With two contributions on Vinilkosmo's electronic compilation, Elektronika kompilo (2003), the "bad boys" of Esperanto rock have been the ones to bring real Esperanto music to the Esperanto dance floor, followed by other artists.
Dolchamar's second album Rebela Sono (2005) introduced a live 6-piece-band with a garage rock sound and a more political tone. With two editions - one international and the other exclusively released in Finland, their native - Rebela Sono gained a lot of publicity in the Finnish media and has become one of the biggest selling Esperanto cd's ever.
Dolchamar's most recent album is Trajn' nenien (2010). This is the purely Esperanto version of a multilingual album that originally only appeared on the internet.
In 2010 Dolchamar was an international group. Their music has become more colorful, with an organ and acoustical instruments, and with influences from the Caribbean, the Balkans, and Northern Africa, but the sound is mixed with many new effects.
The lyrics of Trajn' nenien is in a purer Esperanto than previously, and therefore can be used in learning the International Language.
