Ale Kosabela Argentina
Alejandro Cossavella, an Argentinian artist, is one of more surprising musicians in the world of Esperanto. He first appeared with Ŝako (Chess) with his band La Porkoj (The Pigs), (VKKD23), a group he sang in since 1988.
This punk-rock jewel was released in Collection 2000, and became a milestone of postpunk music in Esperanto.
In 2004, he reappeared on CD with a new group, Strika Tango (Tango on Strike). In fact, tango is not at all present in this album where Ale plays reggaes, psychedelic balads, and bossa nova, and his lyrics explode, talking about his life in the Esperanto movement.
Before traveling to Finland to take part in the festival KEF 2005, he recorded some new songs.
In 2007 he presented some translations of famous tangos and international artists (they do not appear in this new album because it only has the artist's original compositions).
From September 2008 to mid-January 2009, he toured in Europe with his guitar and his record Hej, where latin rythms and South American folklore cohabitate .
In September 2009, Ale decided to gather all his new songs of 2005, 2007, and 2009 together in a virtual album (the first that Vinilkosmo-mp3.com will release in November 2009).
Some of the remastered songs of "Hej" appear in this compilation, which brings his new songs together under the title Revolucio en pajleraro (Revolution in straw). The title pays homage to Masanobu Fukuoka, a Japanese farmer who recommended methods of sustainable development for fraternal and ecological cohabitation on our planet.
A revolutionary Ale!
