With the album Trajn’ nenien, Dolchamar continues its way to being a dance band. This third album has more World Music atmosphere, and the accustic instruments play a central role: guitar, bass, organ, Latin American percussion, and even a melodica. But in Trajn’ nenien, the wooden instruments flirt with modern sound technology.
In contrast to Dolchamar’s other albums, the texts in Trajn’ nenien are in clear and pure Esperanto, written in collaboration with Vinilkosmo. For this reason, the album is suitable for studying the language.
The album assembles different elements of Esperanto music: accustic guitar, choruses, and texts about our world. However, this is done in a fresh tone and – typical for Dolchamar – with humor and word play. The musical influences come from Jamaica, the Balkans, Algeria, and the Americas.
The album presents 12 titles, of which one is instrumental and 11 are for karaoke in MP3 format, plus a videoclip of the title “Des pli”.
Previously, Dolchamar published the albums Lingvo intermonda (VKKD27) and Rebela sono (VKKD75). The group also participated in Elektronika kompilo (VKKD53).
